Kids and cats have a lot of things in common, and one constant is that they all LOVE to get in boxes. It doesn’t matter what size the box is or if they have to destroy it to make themselves fit – a box is an item of joy for kids and cats.
We frequently get deliveries because, hello, online shopping is cheaper, faster, more convenient and less likely to catch you a contagious disease. We were always an online shopping family, the only thing we don’t buy online is groceries, and that’s just because only one supermarket delivers here and it’s always booked a month and a half out. So, we’ve always had a lot of fodder for box trolls.
Whenever we get a big box or a giant box it automatically becomes a fort for the box trolls. Sometimes they even combine medium and small boxes into larger structures to play in. This particular box was made into a car – complete with cut outs for the windshield and windows. Later, Alistair turned it into a fort complete with internal lighting and asked me to take some shots of his wonderful creation.
