I don’t know what is going on with Ariana’s shirt, I think it is a sparkly panda donut made out of sequins, but I love it and so does she! As usual, she picked out her own outfit for school and luckily it’s a bit warmer today, but we still put on sweaters.

Pretty soon the only way she’ll be able to wear her cute t-shirts is by layering them over a long sleeve. I’ve already gotten them each a set of thermals, which Ariana has already stole from Tookie, and I think getting a few more will be a good idea for winter.

The leaves are falling off the bigger trees with wild abandon, but a lot of the bushes and smaller trees are holding onto theirs and are still green. It is still disappointing that the leaves don’t really change color here on Long Island!

I would like to take another trip up to New Hampshire soon to visit Auntie Julie with the kids, but I think by the time we make it up North all the leaves will have fallen off the trees there, so either way we will totally miss the fall foliage! I really would have liked to go apple picking up North again, the orchards and farms there are just so much more festive I feel.

At least the kids can’t really remember the difference, and they are just super excited for Halloween and dressing up. We have some fun fall activities coming up, so hopefully they’ll get to enjoy the season, Long Island style.
