Miniature Roses herald the start of the Summer Season here on the Island and just called out for an infusion of purple.
A unique quality of light here is that it is reflected from water on both sides of the narrow tip of Long Island, and in the sunlight everything just seems to glow. Colors dance and light refracts in the most surprising and intriguing of ways, and many artists over the centuries have found inspiration and retreat here.
Both the Hamptons and the North Fork remain to this day world-renown tourist destinations and playgrounds for the rich and luxurious, and wonderful places that cater to summer tourists but that you can visit affordably on the equally gorgeous ‘off-seasons’.

Thanks a lot for the post. Great artwork.
