Introducing the Walnut Kids! I have created another short video montage from my Samsung Fold 3 phone motion photos – which now include sound! My new phone takes actual video snippets instead of just silent moving pictures, which makes it perfect for Youtube’s ‘video shorts’ format. If you watch on your phone you can expand these vertical videos to fill up your whole screen.
In this episode: hanging out with all four kids and playing in the yard and on the tree fort swing set on a warm autumn day and collecting walnuts from our very old black walnut trees. See the kids playing on the swing set, getting up to no good, and the tree swing that is falling apart and is about to be replaced. The kids are also collecting nuts as it starts to storm outside, defending our universe from a portal to the underworld, and then hiding underneath a swing to protect from the deadly falling walnuts!
I think eventually I will have enough normal video footage to make a real vlog, but it will be of a week or a month long period instead of these little snapshots of one day. These short vertical videos are super easy to edit because I can do everything on my phone with Adobe Rush and get them made in no time.
Plus, I have over two years of silent motion photos that I have to delete off my old phone and I want to save the video part of them before I do, because once it’s transferred it becomes just a normal photo. So basically, expect a lot more of these short vertical videos in the future! But also hopefully some ‘real’ longer vlogs too.
The sound is a little weird here but what can you expect from a motion photo? It’s crazy they have sound at all!
