Alistair has been taking the bus alone a lot this year, Ariana missed at least a week and a half so far just due to her cough. Today though, Ariana and Arin have their annual physical right after the bus comes so Ariana is going to skip school yet again. Ariana has only had to ride solo once so far when Alistair had a sore throat for a day, and then coming up when he has to go to his annual physical. He’s an old pro at riding the bus alone though, since he already had a few months last year to practice.
For some reason it seems like Alistair has a ton of blue hoodies! I didn’t realize how many he had but it seems like he’s always wearing a different blue one in each of these morning pictures. I still am on the verge of digging out our full winter coats though, it has been chilly even when wearing hoodies the past few mornings!
I also still can’t believe that Alistair lost his first two teeth already! Arin lost all eight of his front teeth at once, so I’m happy that Alistair only lost two in a row, but he does have a wiggly bottom one AND a wiggly molar. Ariana says she has a wiggly bottom one too, and I am really not ready for her to be losing teeth, ahh! Alistair still manages to look super cute with his front teeth gone, I think it makes him look mischievous and also like a big kid.
The toothfairy skimped and only gave him two dollars for his first tooth (which in my day was a generous lot of money from her!) but then when his second fell out a week later she left a TEN dollar bill, so it came out to six bucks per tooth, which he has still yet to spend.
