Eep, I found a sneaky little gnome that lives in kitchen cabinets and steals all the lids to tupperware so they never ever match!

We’ve had a bunch of drama with Arin’s strollers. First, when he was tiny, we had a Snap-n-Go that worked great with his car seat, I really liked it and it wasn’t too bulky. Of course, before he was out of his baby seat, one of the rear wheels fell off! I kept putting it back on, but every time we would walk somewhere it would fall off again every 15 seconds. There was no way to reattach it permanently, so finally I had to give up.Somewhere during this time Cheri gave us a stroller she got with her car…

One of the local churches in the next town over was holding a supper to raise money, so we decided to mosey on over and enjoy the “Mediterranean Delights” they advertised. Well, it wasn’t quite so gourmet, but we had a good time hanging out. The church is one of three (or more?) on the Town Common, so afterward we let Bobo run around the grass and play on the gazebo for a while. Just look at that little darling making a kissy face!

My sweet little angel at Easter last year. I can’t believe how much more chubby and baby-ish he was! Awwr. This is Arin crawling around outside before he could walk well! “Bobo Cousteau” His first standing up was pulling himself up on the side of his pack’n’play and nomming on it. I love this picture, I think he looks like a little colorful lizard! One of my favs. Another favorite… Arin loves chocolate now but last Easter he was more enamored with putting everything BUT chocolate in his mouth.

Here is the reason for the progression of my baby from slim little 90th percentile height, 25th percentile weight, to 90th percentile height, 75th percentile weight! Just kidding, he’s still a little beanpole! His little thighs are so skinny! Anyway, this is another example of how Grampy is leading him down the path of excess… always bringing over Dunkin’ Donuts! These donuts sadly were all stale and left over from Thanksgiving, but it didn’t stop Arin from trying to gnaw some deep-fried goodness between those sharp chompers of his. I’m sure Arin would eat Dunkin Donuts every day, and luckily…

Arin’s weekly “birthdays” are on Sunday, so each new week is another week old. This week he turned nine weeks, and today we had his two-month doctor’s visit. Everything went well, he is the picture of health and still the cutest thing ever according to the staff, not to mention extremely happy. The doctor was impressed that he’s already giggling (he was having so much fun ‘playing’ with her during the exam’), and the nurses were talking about how content and happy he is, and said that you can always tell the babies (like Arin) who get lots of attention…

I have been posting what few pictures I have put up to facebook, so head on over there to take a look. I’m slowly editing more… I hope to have an entry for each week Arin’s been around. So, here are some pictures from week 8! Arin has been doing so well. He’s still pretty slender but he likes to eat a lot still. He’s been smiling and happy since birth but now he’s making all kinds of happy noises too, his vocalizations are definitely increasing. His hair is growing in golden blond, of all things! He has this long…

Today I went to see our baby for its very first photo shoot! Pretty exciting, a little uncomfortable and vastly rewarding. Right off the bat we were told, and shown, that our little bundle is a BOY! Everything else looked good, HE’s measuring right on track and according to all the girls in the ultrasound department, is an extremely cute baby. 🙂 So, now I can start planning with more confidence, buying clothes and picking out colored stuff. And of course… deciding on a name. I had the perfect girl’s name picked out… Aurora Concetta. But, I have no boys…
